Here I am some years ago with my first major article , for the opening of the Sinatra Series ! show in Eastern Washington, 2007. Some of the original works are still available for purchase from this body of work . After twenty years of oil painting , I found a style that is unique: illustrative storytelling of some of my favorite movie stars that began with Frank Sinatra . Of course , I use the basic academic oil techniques in my work , but the finer details that I’m known for are based in illustration and much research before I ever start one of these works .
